About the speakers:
Andrea Sansone, Product Manager
Andrea holds a Master’s Degree in materials engineering from the University of Trento and a BEng in mechanical engineering, awarded by the University of Ferrara, Italy.
Andrea with his combined skills guides innovative and existing products through their commercialization in the construction industry. Supporting with testing and consultancy at component or system levels whether it is a failure investigation, a new product development or durability performance assessments.
Joanne Booth, Business Manager, Construction
Joanne has a degree in Construction Management from Wolverhampton University and is responsible for structural testing at Lucideon. Testing covers a wide range of products, from reinforced concrete, roofing (aluminium or steel) and wall ties, to straps, hangers and masonry for Standards compliance, certification purposes, and product development.
Joanne’s expertise lies in large-scale roof testing and system build testing. Utilising these skills, Joanne has worked with many manufacturers and accredited bodies to develop new large scale industry accepted testing methods.
During her 25 year career in the construction industry, Joanne has written and presented numerous papers on various topics, including masonry, timber, and concrete.
