New North Stand
Permission was given to demolish the existing north stand and replace it with a new stand together with an ancillary area. The north stand had not seen improvements for 30 years! Toilets and refreshment facilities were in very poor condition, terracing open to the elements, and the disabled section was open to the elements.
The original stand comprised a 645-seat tiered stand with roof. The new stand will enhance the original spectator stand increasing the provision to 1,546 seats. It also incorporates associated leisure and conference facilities. All in all, the new stand provides an essential facility both to the club and to the community it serves.
