Redevelopment of Hartham Leisure Centre
We’re delighted to be leading the compliance process on the redevelopment of Hartham Leisure Centre in Hertford.
As part of East Herts Council’s major investment in leisure, the centre will be refurbished and expanded. A new two-storey extension is proposed on the footprint of the existing studio and reception area. This will incorporate an exercise studio, gym, soft play area and café with associated landscaping. There’ll also be a rearrangement of the car park area, cycle parking and ancillary external plant, and the provision of a 120sqm temporary studio.
The new extension will be putting sustainability at its heart and will be seeking to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’ sustainability accreditation.
